I am so happy I took the Patente course with Mangiaparole. Our teacher was amazing and very helpful every step of the way.  The materials that were given were also a huge plus as well as being able to watch the taped lessons after the class. I learned so much with just 12 lessons and highly recommend this school. I’ve driven for over 50 years in the US. I  do not speak Italian but my residency required an Italian  license after 1 year.I tried other driving school programs in English (and failed the theory exam twice). Third time is a charm.  Mangiaparole is intense but in a few weeks I had enough language skills to pass the theory exam!  I just passed the practical!! Mangiaparole did an amazing job preparing me to pass the exam for the Italian Drivers License.  I was worried that my comprehension wasn’t where it needed to be - but my instructor was fantastic. I found I was understanding everything she said - she spoke at a level and pace that was very comfortable for non-native speakers and gave us all the tools needed to continue studying on our own. Ciao, Sono un po triste che il corso finisce oggi. Voglio dire quanto ho apprezzato il corso. Posso dire senza esagerazione che questo e stato la migliore esperienza di studio di lingua straniera che ho mai fatto. Laura è una insegnante eccezionale. Conosce molto bene la materia, è attenta ai differente bisogni e livelli di comprensione ciascuno studente. Ha un grande senso dell’umorismo. E il suo materiale di studio e il libro di testo sono straordinari. É evidente che lei impegna più di quanto è richiesto per assicurare che noi impariamo. Non si trova spesso qualcuno che si dedica al suo lavoro come fa lei. Volevo solo dire che capisco quanto lavori duro e quanto é preparata. Mi mancherete il corso e che Dio vi benedica. Corso molto interessante e intensivo. Offre un'ottima preparazione iniziale. Anche gli argomenti più complessi e noiosi vengono spiegati in modo semplice e coinvolgente. Nessuna domanda rimarrà senza risposta. We relocated to Italy year ago from London and were obliged to retake the Italian driving test. Using a local driving school and the driving manual, we failed the first test. Then we found Mangiaparole - Language school and the driving instructor team. We had the greatest pleasure to be assigned Laura who helped us with 12 lessons delivered in a digestible way. Laura was patient, thoughtful and very experienced. That’s not to say the test was easier (it’s super tricky) but Laura helped us prepare, what to look out for, where to focus and how best to study. This 4 week course was very valuable in helping learn the Italian rules of the road and all the new Italian vocabulary and tricky questions that are needed to pass the Italian driving test. After using an app taking numerous test with English translations available, I found the IDL course at Mangiaparole school extremely helpful in clarifying much of the grammar and vocabulary. Also, the special hints to help answer some of the question you may come across. Ho partecipato al corso di italiano per la patente con Benedetta ed è stata un’esperienza molto positiva. Benedetta è un’insegnante preparata, paziente e sempre disponibile a chiarire ogni dubbio. Silvano Argiolas  at Mangiaparole is an excellent Italian teacher. He helped me prepare for my Italian driver’s license and was very proactive, attentive, and well organized. He always sent documents on time, customized the material for me, and explained everything clearly. Highly recommended. Soy la Hna. María de los Ángeles, de México. Pertenezco a la Congregacion de las Hermanas de Santa Ana. El jueves 13 de octubre, junto con algunas de mis hermanas he tenido la posibilidad de disfrutar de un bello recorrido en Plaza Navona y sus alrededores. Conocer la historia de este lugar es una novedad muy grata. Además de profundizar sobre la Plaza Navona, hemos visitado: 1.	El Templo de Santa Inés, donde pudimos gozar del arte y además hemos visto la reliquia de esta santa que se encuentra en una pequeña Capilla. 2.	El Templo de San Agustín, donde esta la famosa imagen de la Virgen de los peregrinos con rasgos bastante ilustrativos del momento histórico en el que fue hecha la pintura. 3.	Continuando con este recorrido visitamos la Parroquia de San Luis, Rey de Francia, en donde también están obras de Caravaggio, la que más me impacto fue la llamada de Mateo. 4.	Nos han explicado también sobre el Pantheon, que actualmente es un Templo católico con una riqueza arquitectónica impresionante, lamentablemente no pudimos entrar, pero lo hemos conocido gracias a la optima explicación de nuestra guía. 5.	Finalmente hemos llegado a la Basílica de Santa Minerva donde concluimos este bello e interesante recorrido. Gracias a nuestra maestra Raffaella y a este maravilloso equipo de enseñantes que coordina esta escuela y este tipo de actividades. El contenido de las clases es excelente y muy acorde a nuestro estilo de vida. Bendiciones y mucho éxito en su camino profesional.

They are student centered which makes learning the language enjoyable. I am just three months old in Rome and I studied only for two months. I understand, speak, read, and write  in Italiano. I cannot say enough about your Italian drivers' license course.  Laura was able to make difficult and confusing topics and idioms understandable. She is committed to her students and the process. I just passed my theory exam for obtaining my Italian drivers licence - phew and yay! My success is definitely due to having done the intensive IDL Italian for Driver’s Licence with Silvano earlier this year. This course gave me such a solid base which I know I would have struggled to get by studying alone. Being  able to converse and confirm details in English was the game changer! Es war eine hervorragende Erfahrung in vergangenen sechs Wochen Italienischkurs zu machen. Anita hat eine excellente Arbeit geleistet und man hat wirklich merken können, dass es um eine sehr erfahrene Lehrerin geht, weil sie den Kurs so konzipiert hat, dass wir innerhalb kurzer Zeit einen riesiegen Fortschritt machen konnten. Ich hatte in Rahmen meiner Vorbereitung auf das Studium in Rom die Möglichkeit einen Italienisch-Intensivkurs von Mangiaparole für sechs Wochen zu besuchen. Vor dem Kurs hatte ich nur wenige Kenntnisse, was sich aber im Laufe der Wochen stetig verbessert hat. Ich danke Anita für ihre tolle Art und Weise der Gestaltung des Unterrichts. Das Motto "Parlate, parlate, Parlate!" ist dabei mehr als nur eine Redewendung, sondern vielmehr ein gelungenes Unterrichtskonzept. Ich freue mich im Verlauf des Jahres weiter mit ihr und der Schule zusammenzuarbeiten und mein Italienisch zu verbessern. I highly recommend Mangiaparole Language School if you are having trouble studying for the Italian driving quiz. My Italian is very little at best. So I decided to book private lessons with Laura Pasquetti. I was struggling to understand some of the more difficult sections of the driving manual. Laura was so patient with me and truly helped me overcome some of the hardest questions and truly understand. I wish I would have done it sooner. I didn't pass on the first test but that was because of being nervous and not understanding what was going on. I had the knowledge I needed to pass. Laura was the best coach and was always there for me to answer any questions. She was so supportive. So the 2nd time I took the quiz I passed with only one error. What a relief. This was the best language class I have taken. I took the class for the intensive Patente B which was a 4 week course (usually 6 weeks I think). The first class was on the 30th of June and I received my foglio rosa on the 30th of July. Laura is an incredible teacher and would recommend to anyone who has to go through this terrifying journey for the driver's license. My only advise is to expect to spend many hours while you prepare yourself for the exam (luckily I had just left my job and awaiting my next one). Laura is an expert on all the topics so if you have available time to put in the work and study, she will definitely give you the tools to pass the theory exam!

I highly recommend Mangiaparole!!! I was so stressed and nervous about having to do the written test and the practical exam (all in Italian because they don’t offer the test in English) to get my Patente B here in Italy but with the help of Anita Lorenzotti and Laura Pasquale, I succeeded in passing the theory exam on my first try as well as the practical exam. I received my Italian driver’s license this morning!!!! I am so grateful to  Mangiaparole because I couldn’t have done it without them. Took B1 level (intermediate) course. I highly recommend Mangiaparole Italian Language School. The material covered included grammar lessons, oral and reading material in a perfect balance. Licia, our professor was outstanding. Her knowledge and method of teaching was great! She made sure we understood the material before we moved on to the next topic. 약 두달간 1:1 수업을 진행하였습니다. 이 전에 상당히 많은 문법을 공부했음에도 이탈리아어로 말하는 것을 어려워 했는데, Benedetta 선생님하고 수업을 통해 즐겁게 소통하고 용기를 얻었어요. 조만간 한국으로 돌아가느라 회화에 막 재미를 붙였을 때 수업을 중단한 것이 아쉽네요. 일찍부터 수업을 받았다면 이탈리아 생활이 더 편리했을 것 같이요.

I have been studying Italian with Mangiaparole for thirty sessions. I am not a native speaker; I started my study with a cursory knowledge of Italian gleaned from being fluent in Spanish.  I have worked with Daniela for the past twenty weeks and today I signed on with her for another ten week session.  Daniela, is patient, kind and allows for  myriad questions.   The director, Francesca Ruberti, is efficient at the enrollment process. I can say without any hesitation that Mangiaparole is an Italian language school of the highest order. I participated in the Corso di Italiano Per La Patente and was impressed immediately by all dimensions of their teaching excellence - content knowledge, pedagogical skills and use of technology. By the end of the course I had overcome my fear of the technical language and felt confident enough to pursue the next stage. I did the driving license course with them online, and it was the perfect kickstart to studying for my foglio rosa. Although my Italian is quite good, getting my driver's license all over again in another country felt overwhelming to me, and it was nice to begin the process with people who were in the same boat. Benedetta was always patient with the students who were struggling with the language too. Our class got lots of practice doing quizzes -- which was essential -- and working together in the breakout rooms. Although the PDF of materials we received was quite lengthy, I would still recommend that future students purchase an official driver's manual to study the material that isn't covered in class (the ages at which you can get different licenses, weight limits for towing, some of the street signs, etc. that you just have to memorize on your own). It's also useful to download one of the apps to do quizzes on the topics already covered in class. The questions I got on my written exam were a mix of questions I remembered doing in class, questions I remembered from the app, and new questions. Benedetta had encouraged us to sign up for the exam sooner rather than later so we wouldn't run out of steam and forget everything we'd studied. I was nervous to jump in so soon, but I followed her advice and signed up for the exam 2 weeks after the end of the course. With that deadline in mind, I kicked myself into high gear and started studying like a maniac. I completed two books of quizzes and did over 2,000 quizzes on the app. I became extremely familiar with the trick questions and the patterns that this course had introduced us to. And, sure enough, I passed my exam with flying colors! I only wish I could do the driving portion with Mangiaparole as well.

The driving license course was an amazing resource! The Italian Drivers license theory test felt overwhelming- i did not know where to start. This course helped break the content into manageable sections and the instructor was knowledgeable and really cared about our success. I was able to pass on my First Attempt! Tre mesi fa non conoscevo l'italiano, non avevo l'opportunità di impararlo e ora, dopo un corso intensivo in questa scuola, posso già condurre e partecipare a conversazioni in italiano. I loved the zoom option with kind and a funny teacher who also knew some English for when I got stuck! Francesca was timely in responses to emails and very friendly, also helping us with solutions to unusual problems that arose in our schedules and personal situation. I think the curriculum could improve since it didn’t follow the basic pattern of introducing a concept, practicing it and then being quizzed. I found it to be more difficult because it all seemed like quizzing whether I knew the concept or not. There could be improvement in taking more time to introduce, memorize, practice and THEN quiz. Otherwise loved it. Was too difficult though for my true beginner husband who couldn’t even understand the instructions and therefore automatically did everything wrong! I had to sit in on lessons to translate and coach him on what was wanted. Some English for basic level one would be very helpful especially in the instructions

Ho fatto un corso di italiano di preparazione alla cittadinanza CELI B1 con Anita Lorenzotti e mi sono trovata benissimo. Abbiamo praticato le simulazioni della prova orale molte volte, anche scelta multipla che sempre sono difficili. Anita mi ha aiutato con il mio stress e le mie paure di parlare. Io parlo spagnolo e ho fatto un corso di 30 ore online, è stato molto buono come in presenza! Finalmente mi sento sicura di parlare italiano e non più "itagnolo"!!! Sono Dieudonné Nyamweru,vengo dal Burundi in Africa, sacerdote da 2017.Sono arrivato qui in Italia nove mesi fa per dire Che non conosco bene la lingua italiana ma se adesso posso almeno aprire la mia bocca per parlare ,Io ,lo Devo a Mangiaparole nella personalità di Fabio. Lui merita una applausa. Si è molto impegnato per me e per i raggazzi della nostra Congregazione e l'ha fatto con il suo cuore, spirito e anime. Davvero, insegnare è la sua vocazione! Siamo contenti di parlare l'italiano grazia a Mangiaparole nella personalità di Fabio e di Anita che è Venuta ultimamente innafiare  ciò Che Fabio aveva già seminato. All'inizio del mio anno di studio a Roma, ho avuto lezioni giornaliere con Benedetta per sei settimane. Questo periodo rimane per me un ricordo meraviglioso! Non ho solo imparato a parlare l'italiano, ma ho anche approfondito la cultura italiana! Benedetta è un'insegnante super amichevole che si preoccupa degli interessi dei suoi studenti. I have been taking private Italian lessons with Anita for the last 6 months.  My italian language skills have greatly improved.  Im really impressed by her teaching style.  I highly recommend Mangiaparole to anyone from beginner to advanced .  This school is super organized.

Grazie al corso intensivo di due mesi organizzato da questa scuola, sono riuscito ad apprendere le basi della lingua italiana in un tempo relativamente breve, che mi ha permesso di studiare alla Pontificia Università Gregoriana e di seguire attivamente le lezioni.  Merito particolare in tutto questo va alla professoressa Anita Lorenzotti che, grazie alla sua professionalità, creatività e apertura, ha reso divertente ogni lezione e facilitato l'apprendimento anche dei contenuti più difficili.

I took this class 8 months ago ... I took my (written) patente exame 4 days ago and got zero errors.  :)    Your class was a great booster, and gave me a great head-start.  I wouldn''t have been ready at all to take that exam direcly after the Mangiaparole class, though, because I didn't know enough italian, nor had I begun to take practice exams on-line. Si dice che imparare una lingua non è facile e veloce. Con Mangiaparole, tuttavia, non ho mai sentito che fosse faticoso! Insegnante amichevole, disponibile e comprensivo, insegnamento interattivo e interessante.

Mangiaparole is a wonderful place to learn Italian, their curriculum is well built and the teachers would go out of their way to help if there is any difficulty. My teacher was Benedetta. She is very passionate about her work and made more confident when it comes to speaking. I highly recommend this school for their flexibility and welcoming learning environment!  Adesso posso parlare con persone italiane, capire i discorsi, e rispondere con sicurezza. Anche se e' diffiicile conciliare il mio lavoro e le lezioni online, Benedetta ha sempre cercato di trovare il tempo piu' comodo a me. I highly recommend Anita! We worked together in Italy, and I can honestly say that she has been one of my favorite language teachers (I need to learn a new language every few years for my work). She has a natural talent for making her language classes fun, and she knows how to find interesting discussion topics based on a student’s interests. She knows how to challenge her students when she sees a deficiency which needs to be addressed, but she is also patient and understanding if a student needs additional time for comprehension or pronunciation. Mi sono trovata benissimo seguendo i corsi in questa scuola. Non solo trovo personale molto preparato ma soprattutto disponibile nel percorso di studi che devi seguire. Hanno un metodo molto efficace che rende lo studio della lingua italiana molto interattivo e pratico.
