Hi! I’m Licia. I obtained the Certification in Teaching Italian as a Foreign Language (DILS-PG II Level) at the Language Certification Assessment Center of the University for Foreigners of Perugia. I have a Master’s Degree in Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences from the University of Milan – Bicocca with honors. I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation from the University of Milan, specializing in Italian linguistics, sociology of cultural and communicative processes, private international individual and family law, as well as German and Russian languages.
I have been teaching Italian for over 10 years at various institutions, both public and private, offering individual and group lessons to students of different nationalities and age groups, from A1 to C2 levels according to the CEFR. In particular, I have gained experience teaching Italian (L2) to diplomats at a prominent foreign embassy accredited to the Holy See. I have also taught Italian and history to high school students, and I currently work as a translator at the Verbania Court, translating to and from English, German, and Russian.
My experience also includes teaching Italian to foreigners in Ukraine. I have continued to work with students from Ukraine as a volunteer since 2022. I enriched my experiences with a study program in Germany, where I conducted research and volunteered.
I currently teach the IDL – Italian Driver’s License course to help students pass the theory test for the Italian patente B.
My hobbies include reading, sports, traveling, and music.
My favorite Italian dish is: piadina!
