Ciao, I am Diana Girardelli, and I have been teaching Italian to foreign learners for nearly twenty years. I graduated from La Sapienza University of Rome with a degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures. I later obtained the DITALS II certification for teaching Italian as a foreign language and, out of personal interest, earned the IELTS English certification at the British Council in Rome (C1 level).
Today I continue to teach Italian to students who wish to attend an Italian university, diplomats working in embassies, members of religious communities, business managers, and adults who simply enjoy keeping their minds active by learning a foreign language.
I teach both in person and online, using the most widely used web platforms and enriching my lessons with activities that I design myself to make learning lighter and more engaging while remaining highly effective.
My teaching approach follows the communicative method, which includes listening activities, videos, interaction, and language games. It is an extremely powerful way to learn new vocabulary and grammar naturally, without unnecessary effort.
I am passionate about music, cinema, and cooking, elements of Italian culture that often become part of my lessons and help students discover the many fascinating aspects of Italian life and culture.
