Chi Siamo

I enjoyed this class immensely. It helped me tremendously to overcome that dread and apprehension about obtaining the IDL. The class is challenging with lots of information, but well organized and Benedetta made the complex and illogical subject matter relatable. She did a very good job in covering the course material. Her personality is vibrant, delightful and encouraging. I was fortunate to have an incredible group of classmates and we have remained in contact after the course. The IDL class is one of my best experiences of 2022. I now feel confident I will pass the IDL exam. I am continuing with this fantastic school and have enrolled in another online italian class. Great experience all around.😊

I recently completed a driver's licence course with Mangiaparole, and for the first time in 2 years felt confident that getting my driver's licence will be a reality. The course was well structured and includes a substantial amount of material which is great for study and revision. I would highly recommend this course !!!

I recently started one on one in person tutoring with Anita and I highly recommend her and the school! She is a really great teacher, a native Roman, who uses lots of different activities to teach/reinforce vocabulary and grammar. Also she's warm and engaging which removes the stress that comes (for me at least) with having to generate speech in Italian. It feels like talking to a friend but I can already tell that I'm learning so much!

I highly recommend the IDL language course for non-Italian speakers who need to sit the driving theory test.

Mangiaparole keeps the class sizes small so that each student has an opportunity to learn properly without feeling lost in a sea of other students.

Luigi is an engaging and funny tutor who explained the logic and history behind certain rules and regulations, which was extremely helpful!

It was also an excellent opportunity to immerse in the Italian language completely, without resorting to google translate or dropping back to English when it became challenging to articulate what I wanted to say - Luigi and the other students were extremely patient and kind! 🤣

Hey those of you on the fence about signing up. 100% recommend!!! My mother tongue is English, Italian has always been a bit difficult for me especially grammar. The teacher did an excellent job of thoroughly explaining several vocabulary words that are not commonly used in daily life but are on the exam. So so so thankful for the useful tools and my quiz scores have gone up tremendously. If there was a class dedicated to trick quiz questions I would definitely sign up!!! The exam is hard for Italians but most definitely for people that are not native Italians. This course is worth the time and it’s really reasonable cost considering the materials provided. I highly recommend it! You will learn so much more than what you can imagine. Very positive experience!!! Everyone involved with the school was pleasant to work with. Looking forward to seeing future classes posted.

I’m taking Italian classes online and I’m enjoying them very much. The teacher was able to accommodate my busy schedule. I’m a professional Jamaican chef who recently moved to italy and need the language for work. I’m excited to make progresses and reach at least level B1. Thank you Anita for helping me with my goal!

Vi faccio sapere come procedo!!

Buone vacanze!!

The school is an amazing place to learn. I learned about the school from my friend Francesca. Francesca now works as Marketing and Student Services Manager. The courses are designed to support students who want to study Italian for the first time. Francesca and I worked together during her time in DC. Her experience in student support and services is high quality. She always dedicates her time to finding the best resources for the students she works with.

Lei è sempre stata a dispozitione.

I came to Italy in August 2014 without knowing a single word. The only the two word I've known were "buongiorno" and "ciao".
We had lessons with Anita Lorenzotti for five weeks.
The lessons were very good, creative and covered all the important topics in Italian language and grammatics.
On the other hand, the method was original. With lots of hearing and writing tasks, comprehension tasks. And a lot of games. Furthermore, on each Friday was movie night. We watched the most famous Italian movies. Each week, there were different tasks (vocabulary, idioms and grammar) connected to different Italian songs.
During the five weeks we learned the all the tenses (past, present and future) and the conditionals. Certainly, some more, and other less, according to their importance and usage in the "every day" conversations.
After the lessons, I was able to use that knowledge at the University and continued to practice and learn further the Italian language.
At the end of my studies, I could choose to write my bachelor's degree in English, German or Italian. I choose Italian.

I'm very glad that Anita was my teacher.
Also, after the lessons had finished, we've met very often in Rome. Anita is always there for any further questions.

I had lessons with Anita Lorenzotti and Benedetta Triulzi starting with almost zero Italian when I arrived in Italy 2 years ago. I was able to start working after 5 months and few months ago I went for the C1 PLIDA certification. They are brilliant and very professional but most of all they are nice people! I definitely recommend them and their school! 💖
